What I'm doing now

Last updated: May 2026

Day job

Co-founder and CTO at Ur AI. Building AI products for structured workflows: document intelligence, automation, the long tail of operational work knowledge workers actually spend their day on. Owning product, engineering, and system architecture end-to-end. Most of my mental cycles go here.

Side projects

Arise. A health-tech app that tracks daily vitals and visualizes progress through a gamified leveling system. In beta with about 20 people. Around 40% are active (using it at least once every two days), and the group has tracked over 5 million steps collectively. I'm currently studying power-user patterns to design nudges that get the rest of the group walking more.

Weekend hacker house. A small group of friends in Bangalore. Started after an Anthropic hackathon when we built something usable in a weekend and realized that being in the same room with a focused group was the unlock. Now it's a regular space: 5 to 6-hour Saturday sessions, pizza, laptops, a strong bias toward shipping. Arise came out of one of these.

Writing

One essay most days at Ephemeral Thoughts. Latest is Decisions & Statistics. Topics drift between behavior, decisions, systems thinking, and whatever I'm tinkering with that week.

Reading & watching

Whatever I'm in the middle of lives at A·S·K Log, with thoughts in the moment instead of polished retrospectives. Episode-level when something hits.

Thinking about

  • The structured-workflow space, and what makes AI usable inside actual work rather than just chat
  • Why pre-AI-era no-code patterns (constrained, spec-driven generation) might still beat raw LLM-only approaches for production software
  • How weekend sessions with hard time constraints out-ship long deliberate planning cycles
  • The relationship between an excellence reflex and pace, and whether they're actually in tension
